Petra Vacková
Petra Vackova is an artist originally from the Czech Republic pursuing her MFA degree at the ArtEZ Conservatorium. She lives and works in Leiden and believes in the power of community and the local. Her work is a balance between concept and strong visual aesthetics. Her inspiration are ambiguous images circulated by media such as internet, television, or newspaper. Her work then comments on the type of social environment created by media and as such confronts equivocal power structures.
